Curriculum Swimming

Rickmansworth School has some FREE pool space availability during the Summer term and would like to offer schools the opportunity to book slots on a first come first serve basis. Our hope is that the slots will benefit schools that have not been able to confirm pool space in other schools/leisure centres which will hopefully support curriculum PE.

Access to the pool will commence after Easter and will provide a one hour slot weekly for up to 5/6 weeks. There are also week intensive courses available to schools if preferred.

To facilitate this, we can offer the pool free of charge and schools will just be required to cover the cost of teachers provided by Active Swim:

Lessons Led by Active Swim

 

Active swim can provide a swim teacher and lifeguard who will charge schools £4 per pupil per lesson with a minimum of fourteen pupils required to proceed with the booking.

 

Active Swim have an established reputation in the area to develop and support schools to meet the national swimming requirements. All Instructors are fully Swim England (ASA) or STA qualified, IOS insured and DBS checked, hold lifeguard (NPLQ) or Lifesaving qualifications, as well as First Aid qualifications.
